Feng lives in Sandy with his wife and two young kids. They enjoy travelling, skiing, sports, and hanging out together at home. He is originally from central China as an international student. He received a PhD degree in Geosciences in 2009 from University of Nevada Las Vegas. He speaks fluent English as well as Mandarin.
